Learning doesn’t need to be on someone else’s schedule. Build your Tennessee business on your own time with our new VEP101 + VEP102 courses.
When you have a full-time job, it can be tough to find the right program to help guide you through the entrepreneurship journey — whether you’re starting your own business or growing your startup.
Thankfully, there are options beyond the traditional classroom when it comes to furthering your education. Learning virtually allows you to choose how, when, and where you complete coursework.
The availability of broadband access using mobile technology has grown to more than 80% for both urban and rural learners (Pew Research). Additionally, research studies from MIT and Vanderbilt have found that online students learn as well, if not better than, their live classroom counterparts.
That’s why, with the help of partnerships across the state, we’re introducing VEP — Virtual Entrepreneurship Program.
VEP is an adult education initiative for entrepreneurs and people interested in entrepreneurial careers in Tennessee. We provide the tools and guidance to start your business or help your existing business grow and scale.
Our virtual, self-paced program allows you to take control of your schedule and get to where you want to go with your business. Each curriculum, VEP101 and VEP102, teaches innovative entrepreneurship in more than 17 hours of video lessons.
BONUS: When you successfully complete the course, you’ll receive a 50% registration fee refund.
Another VEP benefit is that you continue growing and learning even after the course ends, thanks to resources including a library of hundreds of how-to videos, connections to mentors, and more. Whether you’re looking for funding, technical expertise, or mentor guidance, our statewide network of partners can help with your business needs.
Meetups and office hours
LaunchTN has partners across the state that plan to host peer-group meetups and office hours for participants who lack access to the internet and/or who want to work together. Locations include coworking spaces, entrepreneur centers, and small business development centers.
